AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #393 - 1994

Published by Marvel Comics in 1994, Amazing Spider-Man #393 features “Mother Love… Mother Hate!”, the fourth and final chapter of the “Shrieking” storyline.

Inside Beatrice MacBride’s home, Spider-Man faces a deadly confrontation with Shriek and Carrion. Caught between Carrion’s lethal powers and Shriek’s violent rage, the wall-crawler must fight to protect both Beatrice and himself.

Written by J.M. DeMatteis with artwork by Mark Bagley and Randy Emberlin, this emotionally intense issue concludes the Shrieking storyline. It also features cameo appearances by Mary Jane Watson, Aunt May and Ben Reilly. Published immediately before the Clone Saga begins in Amazing Spider-Man #394, the issue provides an important transition into one of Spider-Man’s defining 1990s eras.
